Man is not a victim of time.
All day long he is choosing, he is responding,
he is selecting. Man is in control in his life and when he reaches the end of
his life, he sighs: "What has my life flied by." But it has not flied
by, it was a long string of seconds and minutes, in which he made choices, and
accepted things or avoided things.
Perhaps time has flied by, but man was rather
very regularly waiting for something of struggling with something. And in the
meantime God cherished the free and own will of man.
The bad news is that time does not fly by, but only
afterwards in the memory of man.
The good news is that he indeed is the pilot of
his life.Michael Althsuler is blessed.
