A new chance for love in our hearts

The darling of the world has come, and it suits us to seek a room to welcome Him

My God, I did experience Christmas as a feast of Light, religiously and spiritually. And Christmas dinner, oh well, I'm not talking about that. Looking back now, I notice that the above quote keeps me very busy. Would You like to elaborate on that?

My son, it is clear that you would like that yourself, just get started.

Oh yes sure, I navigate between the old and the new Frenkie. Old and new patterns, old attachments and new ideals. And I am only moderately satisfied. I know that we mankind are ruthless about ourselves, set far too high standards, don't look at ourselves with much love, so that also applies to me now. If I take this text "the darling of the world has come, and did I make enough room for His coming? " mwahh, not so.

Darling of the world, darling of mine, darling of my life, the number one. Well I do my best, but it is not the case. Just too little, too superficial, too casual, and certainly with too little respect. And yet, I also know that it is great, that just by reading this text it already is moving me very much, and that is of course something. And I do try, to make room, for sure.

That's certainly something. For that means that you are open to the presence of the Christ in your life. That would be great for everyone. Yet you are also right. It can always be better and better. How do people live with themselves, with their own things, their wishes, desires, disappointments, worries. How can man keep his/her life small and limited.

And the Christmas period but also a new year stand for a new light in people's lives, a new presence, a new beginning. And it does not matter much to Us in the spiritual world whether Christ was really born on December 25 or somewhere in the summer. Whether you believe in the immaculate conception of His mother or not. Whether you start the new year with new resolutions or a little later. And so on.

What matters to Us is that you receive the Darling of the world into your hearts. That you are open to a new beginning. That you hope for a better life. That you pause for a moment, or at least more often than before, to reflect on the power and influence that all of this can have on your lives. This endearing text makes you feel that Christ, God incarnate, the spiritualized man, the example of perfection, purity, the love of God, that all this is felt closer in your heart, in your head, in your being, in your inner being. And that is a healing, purifying, inspiring energy that you take in thus.

The Darling of the world, now and immediately available in your lives. Just think about that. And the beauty of it all is, and that is a Christmas message and a New Year's wish in one: you yourselves have the ability not only to welcome this great incarnate Love into your lives every day, but also to live it. You can be it yourself, here and now, Love itself, for yourself, for the other, for the world, for nature, it is a Choice, the great Choice in your life, to make here and now. Isn't that a wonderful thought? You as men of good will can do it. God wants it. What's stopping you?

We are having a book published.

Yes, after many years it is here, in Dutch. Now in English as well. 

The first hundred blogs have been edited and published in book form. I'm happy. This project has been on the shelf for a long time, but a good friend of mine did the final editing and provided a good publisher. She has gained a lot of experience with final editing and the publishing world. I am very grateful to her.

Global crisis

 My God, may I ask You?

I have been working as a volunteer in the vegetable garden of a monastery in my village for two years. And oh what a miracle it all is. The beauty of the fog over the fields in the morning. The growth of the vine tomatoes in the greenhouse. The flowers of the tulip bulbs in spring. The blossom of the fruit trees. The dew on the grass in the morning sun. The pike in the water that darts away at human noise. The deep red Virginia creeper on the roof of an old barn. I could go on for a whole page with examples. But my question is this. Will all this be lost because of the increasing environmental crisis, because of the pollution, in the coming years when I think of the gigantic changes as predicted by You in other blogs? I'm so worried. I am so burdened by this realization because the man-made destruction makes me so sad.     

 Yes, My son. A great deal is lost. By your own doing, and by your blindness to the consequences of your actions, and by your horrible optimism that all will be well, and your boundless selfishness, you will witness a total upheaval in the next fifty years. Oh there are many people already working on eco-friendly living, but mankind as a whole is not doing enough about it, especially those in the rich countries. The changes for the better will prove to be too small. As lemmings, you are consciously running towards the abyss. And the destruction will be almost total. No end-time story, no Christ coming back to separate the goats and the sheep. No substantial changes for the better. No, total destruction accompanied by collapsing economies, extinction of many plant and animal species, epidemics and decimation of mankind of unprecedented proportions. All this has been foreseen, and so it will be. Aren´t you all witnessing it all already?

 Now We always have comforting blogs with a lot of perspective and optimism, don't we, and now these words? The consolation lies in the fact that all this is temporary for you, then life goes on, in the spiritual world with great joy because you finally have perspective again. And life on earth also has perspective, because life is stronger than man. Mother Nature will create a new clean world with unprecedented force with an eruption of new plant and animal species, but in the long run for sure. Life goes on, the future of mankind on a clean earth is foreseen. And now you yourselves have a right to eternal life. In short, all suffering is very temporary, there is hope on the horizon, now, always, how could it be otherwise. Hope is life, life is hope.

I am nothing

My God, may I ask You. It's been over a month since I received a blog. When I think about the blogs, there is no inspiration, I often think 'hasn't everything been said?'. And I never think, maybe we should stop, because we've already passed that station a few times. So I sit here and ask You, tell me, please?

Ah, My good son. So you still fall into the old trap, that you have to come up with a topic or a quote and then I will come up with the content and the words. That is certainly the case. But also the suggestion of inspiration comes from Me, also the search and finding of a quote, saying or beautiful anecdote comes from Me. So what do you want, what else can you do but just open up and wait for Me. Your ego is still present and has a sense of responsibility, of having to take initiative, of involvement. But it is absent in this whole process, you are no more than a listener, you are not an inspired prophet, not a cause of news, not a responsible person in the blogs. Other than as a listener. And who knows, maybe the best messages will come at times when you least expect it.

Isn't that your life experience too?

At crucial moments, when hope seems lost, I reach out to you, I give you new hope, I open a door when all the doors are slammed shut. At unexpected moments, I offer you new points of view, I support you in shaky moments, I carry you when you are exhausted. You have experience with that, you know that, that is the basis of your faith, when you sigh: "not I but You are the Doer".

And now the blogs. Nothing is yours, not a word, not a sentence, not a text, not an inspiration, not a subject, not an insight, not an unexpected turn in a subject, not a refreshing perspective where you did not suspect them. Everything is Mine, everything is brought by Me, everything is thought and brought by Me. Why do you think that you have to be inspired, that you have to come up with something, that you have to come up with a topic? Nothing is yours, everything is Mine.

And accept this, My good but careless, naïve, innocent and stubborn son of Mine, just stand open and wait, and I will do the rest.

If there is anything you can leave in this process, it is hindering Me.

If there is anything you can do in this process, it is to let Me.

And if there are no blogs coming, it’s because you make different choices in life, there’s so much interesting stuff too, isn’t it?

The Desire of the Inner Being

The world is filled with hungry souls who famish in the very presence of the bread of life; men die searching for the very God who lives within them. Men seek for the treasures of the kingdom with yearning hearts and weary feet when they are all within the immediate grasp of living faith. (Urantiabook, Teachings of Jesus, 159:3.8).

 Well, nice text anyway and I think so true. Even the greatest atheists feel lost in this large and risky world. And of course you can cling to a partner, the kids, work, fanatical hobbies and shout very loudly that you are happy and don't need anything else, and certainly no faith. But I don't believe them, especially when I read this. Could You elaborate on this, please?

 We look into man's mind, into his heart, into his inner being. And how true is what Christ said. How could it be otherwise? He was closely associated with His God in His earthly life, so except in the Garden of  Gethsemane, in His great trial, He was never lonely. He was with God day and night.

 And now the human being. Certainly the Western man, and certainly the unbelieving Western man. What a sadness, you might say. Clinging to matter, the body, holidays, reason. But it’s not sad. We in the spirit find it endearing. For the unbelieving man denies his deepest desire to return to the Father-Mother God, to no longer be lonely. But he has sweeped the carpet under the rug of his conceit. Touching.

 But let's not talk about the unbelieving man, there are already blogs dedicated to this subject. Let's talk about man longing for God.

 Happy man who longs for God and feels this with all his being. This longing is a guarantee of future success, and the proof of the existence of God. Life-Giving Principle, Key to Happiness, Comfort in Anxious Days, Only True Pure and Loving Presence in man. So close, so present, so waiting for man who looks   nose, who searches in his inner self and not in outer religions or pastors and gurus. Blessed is the man who knows God within him, who consciously listens to The Silent Voice within. Blessed is the man who is no longer lonely, because he knows God to dwell in his heart. And of course also blessed are all other people, one day they will find out the Great Truth, if not in earthly life, then in life after physical death. That promise is there.
