You can choose for love

I learned that the world can only be endured if you decide to love it (Mevlüde Genç)

My God, may I ask You. I read this quote from a Turkish woman who experienced how two daughters and two granddaughters were killed in an arson by racists.  And yet she has been an example of tolerance and love throughout her (further) life.

Would You like to comment on this?  

This is then indeed a Christmas message, my son, while Mevlüde Genç is a Muslim. She has learned what love is and in a terrible situation still has chosen for love, and not for hate. I say chosen, because she herself says she can only tolerate the world if you decide to love it.

And this is the Christmas message for all people of good will.

If you start to realize that you choose all day, all day long, why not choose the good? Is life that simple? Just choosing the good?

Yes and no.  

No, because it is so understandable if a person becomes unhappy due to a bad upbringing, severe accident or a lot of bad luck and starts to hate life. 

Yes, because you don't have to. Time and time again you start your life. You choose again and again. Again and again you can ask yourself what is best for yourself and for the other person.

And then is choosing for happiness more convenient than choosing for unhappiness. Then is choosing for love easier than choosing for hate. And then is realizing that you always choose is more drastic than feeling like a mere victim and blaming the world.

And such a world also becomes unbearable then.

Jesus in my life

I have been "busy" lately with inner silence and sober living and self-control and purity. I do not want to call it chastity, certainly not, but it comes closely. And now throughout this period of preparation for Christmas I'm practicing meditation and reading about Jesus. Maybe I exaggerate a little bit, after all I have a tendency to proportions of everything or nothing, oh this intense way of life really tricks me sometimes. Haha especially if it about negative emotions, then God sees me grumbling.

But now Jesus, oh Jesus, what are You special, Your wonders, Your example, Your love, the conversation with Your Father, Your generosity, Your suffering.

Even if only 10% would be true, then still it is all impressive.

And one day when I just drove home from a family gathering and when I was musing on Jesus, I got so overwhelmed by the presence and closeness of Jesus, that I started crying for half an hour just out of emotion, happiness, love for Jesus, gratitude to his increasing presence in my life.

I have been impressed for days.

Oh Jesus, great love, great comfort, great support, great example.

I thank you, thank you, thank you.

My son, how could I not want this?

You have been touched for half an hour by the living Christ in your life.
But let no one who follows Mohamed, or Babaji or Krishna, or Buddha or any other great spirit, any other great son or daughter of mankind, any other Son or Daughter of God, let no one think, oh there you have another Christian, just a Jesus fan, that does not apply to me.

For to them I say, Your God spark, Your God, God Itself:

This is meant to be for everyone, this being touched on earth by God. For the Christ consciousness is nothing else than the Father-Mother God who impresses Itself on earth. It is the incarnate Eternity, which shares Itself with the earth-bound beings. It is the Kingdom of God, Allah, Brahman, Yahweh, the Almighty, the Eternal, the Unnameable. And that Kingdom is impressing itself on earth to man.

Every man can and will experience this. Here or later. On earth or in eternity. Every man will experience this, may experience this, can experience this, many men are indeed experiencing this, even if they give a different explanation to it.

And know this: the simple man who has let go just for a moment all his earthly attachments, who has put aside his ego, and who has opened himself just for a moment humbly to God, that simple man is that moment equal to Christ. Is that moment Son or Daughter of God.

You were it for half an hour, keep going on. And be blessed, My son.

Innocence, the earthly significance of chastity (1)

My God, I'm especially with Christmas reading a book from Maria Valtorta * and I am reading now about the birth of Mary by the old Anna and Joachim. According to Catholic tradition, they are at an advanced age still blessed with the birth of child, Mary. And when I read the passages preceding the pregnancy of Anna, the birth of Mary and her growing up in the first years before she will be offered to the temple for further education in the temple, without her parents, I notice the next thing so to speak:

Chastity is a key concept in this whole story and as I look around in the world, it seems that this virtue has gone. Except in the behavior of Catholic nuns and Muslim women with headscarves, who seem to cover their femininity for the outside world.

Does chastity actually still consist? Or is it an old-fashioned and outdated concept?

My son, don’t you think this is a nice Christmas Topic?

You asked me for a topic for this Christmas to be at least reflective on fundamental spiritual values as opposed to the issues of the day with gifts and dinners. And I have brought you to this topic.

On earth there is much innocence as well and even though chastity has especially got the meaning of sexual abstinence and virginity, we will comment on it in the meaning of innocence. We lift it so at a higher level than the understanding of the people.

In the spiritual world chastity has the meaning of intactness, I will go into it the next blog.
So for now the earthly chastity.

Indeed, it seems that only Catholic nuns, shaved Buddhist monks, naked Indian sadhus and Muslim women with headscarves do something about chastity. But they are not alone.

Among all peoples, races, all religions, all ages and genders there are chaste innocents who refrain from words and actions concerning sexuality. And there is also a very large group, which admittedly has sex in the circumstances, but  is deep within recurring again and again to the innocent state.

So, my son, do not look too superficially to society. Even in the West, where materialism and commercialism do cause that even men behave erotically, chastity is a living and cherished and powerful virtue.

The earthly chastity represents an inner attitude of purity and innocence, which if you look carefully is everywhere.
Look around and see the innocence everywhere, in thousand forms.

I recall you a few to open your eyes:

• Catholic nuns, shaved Buddhist monks, naked Indian sadhus and Muslim women with headscarves so to speak, not as a group but among them there are true pure ones
• a mother of children who is "liberated" from sexuality by old age or by the death of her husband and is regaining her innocence gradually and acquiring forth the old state of inner virginity
• an oversexed man who through a combination of experience, a changed attitude and new insights decides to a conscious celibate abstinence out of conviction
• and then there is a chaste moment for still many people, for example a person who stops smoking, or one following a serious diet, or someone who starts a new life and leaves the parental home or is going to live in another city or in another country
• or you, for example, when you've showered, you just became physically clean, but sometimes you feel also spiritually reborn, as if you were baptized. That's chastity as well.

So please do not make chastity too exclusive and too big and too inaccessible, as is done with God, but get it close in your life, cherish the moments and rejoice at the next moment of chastity. For even the most sensuous whore can experience chaste moments.

And look around you and see the chastity alive and full of power even in the materialistic and sensual societies of our time.

Following Jesus' life as example

My God, I would like to say something?

In this Christmas season in which commercialism has taken over humanity I would like to reflect on Jesus' life, on his example as a human being.

This Christmas season may have a pagan background and actually be a celebration of the birth of the light. The Christmas tree may be pagan. The date of the birth of Christ may be wrong. What does it matter?
Actually only one thing seems to be important, Jesus was our example.
A man of love, a man of wisdom, a courageous person breaking conventions. Someone who was always willing to go to his Father for support and consultation, for trust and silence, for prayer and rest.

What would we quarrel if he is a creator of a cosmos, or son of God. If he is one of the great prophets or the Prophet. Will he ever box our’s ears that we did not know or did not believe him, did not acknowledge or understand him? He will only want to know if we tried to follow his example? Only tried so?

I am fed up with those religious conflicts, and that bickering, and whining about what to believe. I am really fed up with it. I do understand the atheists, who do not want have anything to do with religious fanatics who box each other's ears with their full or half-truths. Well, probably You will understand what I am getting at.

My son, it’s really something you are saying.

Jesus was a true man, a clear thinker, a true worshiper of God, a man of courage, a champion of justice. He was averse to hypocrisies and untruthfulness. He loved everybody being vulnerable, young or old, poor or sick, ugly or criminal. He knew in every person the promise of God to every man, to be allowed once to join the celestial meadows. And for this he served two goals on earth: to glorify God and to bring man closer to God.

And do not blame mankind, My son, she's just on the road.

And rest assured, mankind still has to go a long way, from animal to spirit, from struggle to surrender, from the outer to the inner, from earth to heaven.

God is man nearby on his path. Every person, at every step.

Jesus made great strides, but slowed his pace to join every human being.
In that sense he is Godlike.
For God slows It’s pace to bring along every human being.
For God knows man is pursuing only ONE course.
ONE course, ONE goal, ONE path, ONE promise.

Christ is born

I look with a certain compassion at all your Christmas trees, Christmas shopping, family dates and Christmas dinners, and observe how many of you forget, or not even know, that the feast primarily is concerning the birth of Christ.
Even believers think it’s a stale story, dated and perhaps made up at all.

Let Me say you all this.

The story is true, it is the peak in human history, it is an act of pure love, that Christ took this difficult path, along with His mother, and it’s a turning point as well in human history.
From this moment on, from the Birth, when the angels said to the shepherds: "Listen, Oh people of good will" until the death of Christ is one big event. This facilitated the connection between earthly and spiritual life, the connection became easier, improved, strengthened and energized.
But the main message of this beautiful and by God planned Life is this: from that moment on Christ could be born immediately and fully in your heart. Warranty for the spiritual life, surrender to God and promise of the spiritual life to you evolutionary creatures.

Christmas exhorts you to accept hiddenly and openly the Christ consciousness, the divine, the eternal, the new man, the spiritual future, that God manifest and permanent and omnipresent may come and live in your heart. In the here and now. With all the resulting graces.

In My previous blog I said: "why don’t you say to your inner self: hello, anybody there?"

Now I am telling you: why don't you allow Christmas into your life, in your heart, in your being. If you succeed in pushing aside the external, material, family and Christmas tree feelings and when you open up to God. Then you can experience that God is One with Christ, It’s Son on earth, that God feeds and cherishes the Christ Consciousness. That God loves to arrive, where it’s empty and tidy and clean.
In a filthy, lascivious, obsessed, messy, troubled heart God doesn’t come. Not that God shouldn’t be able to, because with a gust of wind God cleans everything with It’s breath, but God does not want to, because God only come when you want it. For God is modest and patient, and only when you ask God to, with your whole heart, your whole mind, with your whole will, God enters your heart.

Because to God it is when it comes to the point everything or nothing.

You are against God or you are with God. You want everything in the world, or you prefer God above all. God’s Christ said two thousand years ago: “you can not serve two masters”. And many of you are now serving a gentleman, whom I am calling My ape only.

Seize your opportunity.

This is the last thing I would like to say to you: every day again can become the One True Christmas in your life. And this is not depending on the atmosphere around December 25. Although the circumstances are more favorable because of the gestalt of the worldly spirit of Christmas, because of your hopes and your need for peace in this period.
But God is always ready, provided you are ready, any time.
