I am nothing

My God, may I ask You. It's been over a month since I received a blog. When I think about the blogs, there is no inspiration, I often think 'hasn't everything been said?'. And I never think, maybe we should stop, because we've already passed that station a few times. So I sit here and ask You, tell me, please?

Ah, My good son. So you still fall into the old trap, that you have to come up with a topic or a quote and then I will come up with the content and the words. That is certainly the case. But also the suggestion of inspiration comes from Me, also the search and finding of a quote, saying or beautiful anecdote comes from Me. So what do you want, what else can you do but just open up and wait for Me. Your ego is still present and has a sense of responsibility, of having to take initiative, of involvement. But it is absent in this whole process, you are no more than a listener, you are not an inspired prophet, not a cause of news, not a responsible person in the blogs. Other than as a listener. And who knows, maybe the best messages will come at times when you least expect it.

Isn't that your life experience too?

At crucial moments, when hope seems lost, I reach out to you, I give you new hope, I open a door when all the doors are slammed shut. At unexpected moments, I offer you new points of view, I support you in shaky moments, I carry you when you are exhausted. You have experience with that, you know that, that is the basis of your faith, when you sigh: "not I but You are the Doer".

And now the blogs. Nothing is yours, not a word, not a sentence, not a text, not an inspiration, not a subject, not an insight, not an unexpected turn in a subject, not a refreshing perspective where you did not suspect them. Everything is Mine, everything is brought by Me, everything is thought and brought by Me. Why do you think that you have to be inspired, that you have to come up with something, that you have to come up with a topic? Nothing is yours, everything is Mine.

And accept this, My good but careless, naïve, innocent and stubborn son of Mine, just stand open and wait, and I will do the rest.

If there is anything you can leave in this process, it is hindering Me.

If there is anything you can do in this process, it is to let Me.

And if there are no blogs coming, it’s because you make different choices in life, there’s so much interesting stuff too, isn’t it?

The ego makes everything small and divides, God sees everything big and in one whole (Would You like to talk to me, I asked God, 3)

My God, in our conversation, me on the bike, the ego was discussed that way and actually it is discussed in a number of blogs. However, I found your comment quite striking. The ego makes everything small and You see everything big. The ego divides and You heal.
 

Well I actually expect something new and that will probably be the case?

Yes my son, your expectations are always exceeded by Me, not only because I always have something surprising or beautiful in store, but also because your child's hand is filled so quickly, because you keep it open and empty, over and over again.

The surprising thing is this.

God wants the ego to make everything small. God wants the ego to divide everything. Because only then it will develop itself. Only in this way it will develop into a perfect instrument. Only in this way does it grow to the next phase, namely the chance of surrender. The chance of becoming an instrument instead of wanting to be the goal. This is the best way to do it.

Does a mother wants the child to rob the entire cookie jar? Just one step to the cookie jar as if there is nothing else in the world other than that one cookie jar. And once the lid is off, isn't it wonderful that the child just takes one cookie? The child thinks that it will not be discovered otherwise. One cookie only. And while the child focuses on the cookie jar and its cookie action, the mother sees the whole living room, which is bigger than the cookie jar, after all. And so it does work properly.

The ego makes everything small. And God oversees the big picture and provides every step of the ego to see more, to discover more, to experience more until the whole world has become the cookie jar.

The ego divides. And God heals. And God helps the ego to slowly let go, to see more, to realize more. For example, that squeezed hand with that one biscuit, even though the biscuit is eaten afterwards, symbolizes the total identification of the ego with the small, with the limited. And ah, God knows more than the ego that all of this is temporary, and promises to grow into more, and bigger and clearer.

And thus God sees that everything is all right.

A prayer on earth becomes a flower in heaven

My God, I have come across this somewhere but do not remember where, would You like to comment on this?

I will do so.

Just as a plant grows from a seed and flourishes as a highlight (actually the highlight is the fruit that should come from it), so a man grows from a foetus and it is a highlight in human life when he prays. And actually the highlight will be the fruit of his prayer.

But it is pure reality. As a plant grows and blooms and usually dies after flowering. Thus grows man and flourishes in his prayer and then dies a little. The ego ceases to exist when a person prays: the surrender, the trust, the peace that prayer entails kills the ego. And what remains are the fruits, on earth after the flowering of a plant, her fruit, with man after his prayer: peace, trust, surrender, but especially inner peace, and if you could see with spiritual eyes, you saw thus.

A man prays and a flower grows in the place of his heart, and the more intense the prayer and the more selfless, the more beautiful the flower. And when this man arrives in the spiritual world, his spiritual home, the place where he may reside, turns out to be a wealth of flowers, prayed together on earth. For nothing is lost, and everything has consequences, evil deeds and good deeds.

And thus a temporary prayer on earth transforms into an eternal flower in the spiritual world.

Character is how you treat those who can do nothing for you

My God, would You like to comment on this quote?

My son, because you wondered what the subject of the blog of this week would be, I led you to a number of quotes on the internet. We can advance three months, there's in God's world enough to deal with for beautiful blogs and great messages, do not you think?

This saying is another word for love, for compassion, for wisdom, for spiritual insight. The ego loves to calculate what's in it for me? And that's good, in a certain phase of human development. But when the spiritual development has begun and the personality becomes more and more important and the ego is getting smaller, then other insights will come up. And then the great passion of the personality turns out to be: "How can I pass on the gifts of God to others? How can I give away as much as possible and empty my hands again so that God can fill them again with Its endless gifts?

And then everything moves up from the spiritual world into the earth, from above to down under. And then the personality gets inspired by new opportunities, by new perspectives, by new insights. And this is one of them. For the Christ has already said that you have to lose your life to find it. And those who can not mean anything for you handling lovingly and with respect and openness will show then that they definitely mean everything for you. Because the rewards of God are worth more than any earthly lottery or salary.

You're my everything

My God, sometimes I suddenly realize so thoroughly that without You I am not capable of anything, I know nothing, I understand nothing. My perspective then is clear. You are my everything, my future, my support, my peace, my life, my strength, my safety, my energy. Then I see so clearly and feel so completely, into the depths of my being, that I am nothing without You, a roaming monkey in the dark, an ignorant mistake maker, a creature that holds everything back, hindering, stopping and neglecting everything. And then everything seems to go wrong. I see simply then that I am a speck of dust in the cosmos. That without you, everything goes wrong.

And I see then as well that with You I have a power, I see that everything goes well, that everything is flowing, that the world is open to me, that with Thee I am capable of everything, that love is happening to me, that I am a creature of will and power and love, that the world was created for us, that I look through Your eyes and see that all is well. That with You all is going well.

And I also think that for those men who believe nothing, this of course applies equally, they as well receive everything from God and are nothing without God, only they do not recognize it.

And actually, my point is this, that my ego, this whole stupid structure to which I, thank God, spent less and less time, is nothing but a structure to hold You back in my life. And without cherishing this ego,  everything will flow.

My son, definitely.

I’ll give two additions.
You can find among unbelievers who have released their egos and have totally surrendered to the big picture, but they call it the art, or nature or the welfare of the world.
And my second addition is that the ego is not a stupid structure, but an ingenious instrument donated by Me to man to follow the evolutionary path from animal to spirit. At best it is handled stupidly by  man. And that’s an understatement.

Life is great and grand and in every case too big for the ego.

Man with his ego likes to make his world small, clear and tangible.
And that's good. It's pure survival and comprehensible in an uncertain life full of danger.

But then the ego is starting to believe that's it.
And the personality knows and feels there is more to it.
The ego likes to stick to its small and orderly prison.
And the personality knows life around him is greater and mightier and richer than himself.
The ego grabs and wants to control and wants anything to go by.
The personality releases and realizes his limitations.
The ego gropes and grabs and looks for security.
The personality accepts and lets happen and sacrifices.

Therefore Rilke is right, that man must be defeated.

But not man but his ego-prison, just to release him.
He must thoroughly and completely be defeated by life.
But not by a wicked and malicious enemy.

Only just defeated by the full and grand and loving life saying:
Come and experience.
Open your eyes and see.
Leave your small and limited prison behind and step into the great outer world.
Do not be alone anymore and experience the whole.

The ego is crucified so that the Christ consciousness can get a chance

My God, would you like to comment on Easter?

Easter can be an inspiration for every person on earth, not only for Christians, not only for those who are open to the life of Jesus. For all men it is the path.

Oh, not to be tortured and to die on a cross. This Passion has to be remembered as much as possible, but this is only meant to be for a Few on earth.
But for all there is in the offing: the renunciation.

This is the sacrifice and surrender of the ego, whereby man says, "not my will but Thy Will be done."

For every human being will follow this path from beast to spirit.
For every human being will follow this path from the ape of God to God Himself.
Every human being is following this path,  before or long after his physical death.
This is the path of humility, the path of letting go, the path of surrender.

And even someone who is singing the Passion Songs without any faith, purely as music, is affected by the Spirit of Easter.

Even someone who is preparing an attack on innocent civilians is invisibly and not noticeably touched by the Spirit of Easter.
Even someone dying rantingly and ravingly and who is feeling forsaken by God and man, is touched by the Spirit of Easter.

The Spirit of Easter is omnipotent and omnipresent, all year round, always blessing and waiting and cherishing and uplifting.

The Spirit of Easter is a Servant of the Mother Goddess, who is choosing for her children the best, but the most painful thing.
And especially in the period of Easter the Spirit is more powerful and more influential and hits the Earth's heart, because in this period, billions of people are receptive for Her.

How is this all expressed?

A heart feels compassion for a fugitive on TV.
A crying child is caressed by an old person.
A mother is suffering by the grief of her children.
A president is burdened by the suffering of his people.
A killer is doubting seeing the consequences of his crime.
A whore is softening the solitude of her client.
A pastor is touched by the example of Christ.
An unbeliever sympathizes with the confusion of a psychiatric patient.

The Spirit of Easter is also the love for the other.

The Spirit of Easter is affected by the vulnerable.
The Spirit of Easter is the compassion for everyone's suffering.
The Spirit of Easter is experiencing awe for the big picture.
So the Spirit of Easter is especially cleaning up the narrowness.
This time is blessed.

Laugh at yourself at least once a day!

It just seems funny, but I think there's more into it?

Doing this exercise, showing this to others, applying this in all domains of your life is taking the wise line.
Why?
Because God is behind all, because this helps building up and nourishing the new spiritual personality.

Because doors and windows will open up to the outside world.
Because you will become lighter in your mind.
Because then you are getting detached from identification and distress .
Because the ego is not appreciating this at all.
Because laughing at yourself is the ego driving from the throne.
Because one of the characteristics of devilish behavior and of the little ego, of rigidity, of orthodoxy, of rigid thinking, of dogmas, of character structures getting stuck, of dead ends, of psychic darkness, of identification, of the evil  is humorless, especially concerning oneself.

So I would say:

" Do not laugh at yourself once a day, but try to do it as much as possible. Look at yourself in the mirror, when you are frowning and worrying. Laugh all away (just for a moment). And then become so light in your mind you are ascending to the angels. "

And do know you all the angel of humor, the spirit of humor will become one of the leading spirits of the new time.
And in this time of transition she is essential, and can be invoked always, always.
And you all will experience visible and tangible results.
Just try it.
For she is God's right hand .

The spur of the moment or the room of the here and now

 

 The ego lives in the spur of the moment , the personality in the room of the here and now.

The last few days I was kind of struggling quite a bit and suddenly I realized I was drawing conclusions, I was too much saddled with my ego, muddling along the past and the future. I had little room for the here and now, the here and now seemed to be a dull experience.
And this phrase came to me, Yours of course?

What is not Mine?
I have inspired you this phrase to provide you some more perspective. You realized then you were muddling in the outer shell of man where the external world, the past and the future are gloriously doing their thing. And I wanted you to make contact again with your inner self, to reconnect again with the silence, with room, with appreciating the here and now, with accepting everything is as it is.

The ego lives in the spur of the moment

The ego always experiences everything absolutely and grotesquely . The currently prevailing negative emotions are experienced as truth. One is feeling the past as burden or is having fear for the future. Often this is accompanied by uncertainty, anxiety, worrying or anger. The spiritual world is not opposed to the ego. On the contrary. It is a beautiful instrument, a earthy instrument, a transition state between beast and spirit, a tool for evolution. How couldn’t We not cherish it?
But the ego for itself thinks it is more than a tool, it wants to sit on her throne and imagines itself to be the center of the cosmos. But that's not the case, and it can’t  cope so much power. The misery of life is to a large extent on it’s account.
The ego makes the prevailing emotion at that time to issues of eternity, to absolute greatness. And this does not correspond with reality. It is a delusional attitude. It is an illusion. It is untrue.

“The personality in the room of the here and now”

The personality is a tool as well, but of greater importance. In man, where the personality is in control God is on the throne, or life itself, or the sake of nature, or the public interest. The inner life of this man is characterized by tolerance, love, room, there is no judgment. There is no struggling and one is not interfering with good and evil, with beauty and ugliness, with sympathy and uncongeniallity. In the room of the here and now the beautiful and delicate is valued, cherished and enjoyed. The ugly, difficult and negative is accepted as part of life.

One says yes to everything, on is giving love to everything, one is giving attention to everything. One thinks the past to be interesting but not prescribing. One let the past go. One finds the future inspiring but debatable. One is leaving the future to be the future. One does not know. The present is getting room, the here and now is full and interesting and full of opportunities and insights, full of acceptance and love. One is listening to the inner self and appreciates the outer world. One does not experience any dichotomy. It is a attitude of openness. It is insight. It's true.

My advice to you all is: you can not serve two masters. If you are dwelling too much in the ego, please remember then your inner self. Step out of the rotating wheel of the ego into the silence of the axle, into the peace of your inner self. Into the true heart of man. Where God is waiting.

My God,

How can I ever overcome this?

My ego with its endless desires and wishes and frustrations and own things.
is it happening once I am still in my inner self and You are showing Yourself to me. Then there is just a slip of the pen outside or inside myself, and You're gone. Well, actually You have withdrawn Yourself, because You are giving me all freedom, over and over again, to lose myself in my petty little things. To become despondent.

My son, do not lose courage under My leadership. Feel again and again uplifted and inspired. Do not falter, do not doubt. Hold on to your intention to empty yourself before Me. Be vigilant over and over again. Put a guard at the threshold of your mind, and let the world not enter too quickly with its temptations. Choose every time again for Me, cheer up.
And know the number of times you are losing yourself in your little things will occur less. And the number of times you will voluntarily cherish yourself at My bosom will increase.
Go forth, over and over again.

And be not afraid for the moments the problems of life will jump on you like flies. It is precisely at such moments I'll carry you.

And do remember: I prefer to reign in an empty house. What should I compete with the things of the ego? I'm waiting for the surrender of your inner self. That is My wish. Always.
And know this surrender irrevocably will arrive, in everybody’s life.

A monk is having less of an ego

I am staying a few days at a monastery .
I am always very impressed by the appearance of the monks .
They seem to have so little ego *. They seem to have given up so many things of which we, laymen, are still concerned about, is this right?

They have chosen for God and they have given up much of the world.
They have already forsaken a lot.
A private home, a partner, a sex life, kids, a career , status, a position, power, material stuff.
They are not all yet free, but much freer than laymen.

They have forsaken much compared to laymen.
They are forsaking a lot.

So they have learned to say often no to the ego , to say no to his wishes and desires and fascinations. And they help each other to choose for God over and over.
It’s all about a clear perspective , a clear choice, a main purpose to which all the rest is ​​subordinate.
So basically the ego does not get much chance to grow and their personality has become more an instrument of God, of the whole.

AND I want to emphasize their prayers for the world and their care for retreat visitors are contributing to a great spiritual credit. They are saving for eternity. Every time they are opening all windows for God to come in. So their " My God" is getting plenty of opportunity to express Itself in the earthy reality.

Laymen must not  think: oh , this is not my peace of cake”. Because each person is following his own path, and every day is providing new opportunities to ask oneself:

Am I choosing for God or for His opponent , the monkey of God?
Am I choosing for the whole or for the separation?
Am I choosing for the good or for the evil?
So please be inspired by the example of the monks .

It looks like morning sickness

May I ask you something?

I experience regularly waking up in the morning , so between 4-6 hours , and really feeling quite horrible. Sometimes sad, sometimes I'm afraid , sometimes I am not looking forward at all facing the day, sometimes I feel lonely and wonder what life is all about.
I am not experiencing it always, but it can be quite vehement, all kinds of negative emotions are pouncing upon me , and sometimes I'm surprised at the vehemence .

And almost always the feelings disappear completely during the first hours of the day.
I wonder then : what was this all about? Why are they completely disappeared? Where are they coming from? Can You comment on this please? I assume more people do have this troubles?

Many people will recognize this. The more one gives feelings a proper attention in life, the stronger they will be experienced . People who suppress their feelings a lot , will not have this experience , but they probably will face a suddenly depression or a physical disease.
And then there is a group suffering no problems at all, because they are superficial, or because they do not have any problems (yet).

It's a simple cleansing, you are facing, and in this manner.
On the day you are experiencing all kind of stuff, and it is not possible to process this all emotionally during the day.
The reactions , the involved emotions , the processing of what happened, that all is done overnight. Everything is, by the human consciousness , and with help from the spiritual world, organized , relived , expressed in dreams , cleared away or cured.
And the depth of the emotions you are experiencing in the early morning are just the fine particles in the air after vacuuming , the leftover filth on the bottom of a washing-up bowl.

If that is cleared away, you're ready , you can go on cheerfully.

Vacuumed , having washed the dishes, having processed the day.
And then you can start with a next job , start a brand new day .
And the ego really loves to loose itself in that awful hour exaggerating the emotions and drawing conclusions . Stop it.
Just go on, and then everything will be cleared away. That’s that and Bob is your uncle.

Awakening as a consistent choice

Would You like to comment on awakening of man?
I am noticing I actually have to pay attention the whole day on. My ego with his feelings and thoughts and desires and physical experiences is constantly entangling my consciousness. I had the idea  liberation was a state , but it seems to be a kind of alert attention . It is an again and again choosing for observing instead of getting sucked into all the fussy stuff of life . As if I am relaxed moving in the traffic but at the same time always paying attention. Anything like?

You are hitting the mark excellently. Being in the traffic relaxedly but always paying attention.
This is the state of a liberated consciousness. Simultaneously observing how the ego, the world, the ape of God are always trying to keelhaul you. Always challenging. Man may fall. Man may step out of his awakened state. Especially on earth .

It is a better perspective just considering the ego as if you are observing the weather in the Netherlands. Weather affects you much less than actions of the ego . These actions are continuing influencing you day and night. Always constant vigilance, as in traffic.

The gurus and religious ministers who derailed always have underestimated the actions and the presence of the ego . And they have overestimated their liberation. Too bad they did not seek in this process the help from God, or life, or both. Or from their fellow man. Because without criticism nobody is doing well. One needs the environment and the other, especially to check whether one is still having a keen perspective, if one still is living properly, if one is still acting properly.

Does this seem contradictory? Needing the environment and simultaneously not being seduced by the environment?
No, not at all. Actively participating in traffic, mingling into traffic without fear , behaving properly in traffic with respect and love, and having an eye for all life . And at the same time considering traffic just as a means, not an end .
And this is what the ego and the ape of God are doing: making means into the goal. This is all. But it is not correct.

Keeping an eye on the ego as you keep an eye in the traffic. That’s all.
Always paying attention, an attentive vigilance , keeping up the perspective of eternity, cherishing life from the perspective of God, not from the perspective of the ego .
Then you will stay awakened. Then you are free. Then everything will stay well. Then all is well.

The personality and the ego

Actually there is a big difference between the ego and the personality .

Why don’t you first go into it?

I have always thought they were pretty much the same, and when the ego would disappear, only Your will would be left over. And someone would have become loving and generous and "impersonal".
But in this last weeks while I 'm releasing all, my ego and all the fuss around it are indeed getting less attention from me . But who is this me ? Actually really somebody, a personality , but not so uptight and struggling. More of a quiet silent observer , though still a I-figure , a I-sayer, so to speak a personality.
Anything like.

The personality is a gift from God.
The personality becomes bigger when the ego is getting smaller.
What 's the difference ?

The ego is inflating emotions.
The personality let them flow.

The ego is clinging to emotions.
The personality lets them go.

The ego finds himself the center of the universe.
The personality experiences in a loving way his whole environment.

The ego wants to be the best.
The personality experiences mere equality.

The ego is deeply inside insecure.
The personality feels a confidence -inspiring stability.

The ego tries to possess everything.
The personality especially enjoys what he sees , not what he owns.

The ego tries to get everything.
The personality tries to give everything.

The ego lives in constant fear .
The personality is trusting.

The ego is dividing and ruling.
The personality is accepting and binding .

The ego thinks or feels at the wrong moments.
The personality feels and thinks at the right moments .

The ego acts or acts not at the wrong moments.
The personality acts or acts not at the right moments.

The ego talks or is silent at the wrong moments.
The personality talks or is silent at the right moments .

The ego acknowledges only the past.
The personality acknowledges only the future.

The ego is tempted by the devil , the monkey of God .
The personality is guided by God.

The ego makes everything personal.
The personality makes everything impersonal.

The ego is struggling with life.
The personality is saying yes to life.

My son, continue on the path of liberation .

And know every man is a mixture of this two variables. And the attention man is paying to one of the two variables is not paid to the other one.

Because it's one or the other.

How can mankind make this possible? By renewing your mind (thoughts and feelings, in fact your attitude).
It is so simple that it is difficult for you all.

The old-Greek saying: "Panta rhei kai ouden menei”, or “everything is flowing and nothing is remaining”.
The ego is clinging to thoughts and they become dogmas and doctrines.
The ego is clinging to feelings and they become sentiments.
The ego is clinging to relationships and they become attachments.
The ego is clinging to affairs and they become fixation.
The ego is clinging to things and they become materialism.
Is it possible for the personality not to grasp anything, or rather after grasping letting it go again?

Yes, it's possible.
And what you are requiring is: insight and free will.

Insight.

That everything in your life is flowing towards you and may flow away again.
That you are so vulnerable, if you want to hold to everything.
That you'll stay uncertain, if you keep clinging to certainties.
That all is when it is. It all will come, when it comes. It all will go, when it goes.

The free will.

By constantly grasping and understanding the limitations and the misery of this grasping.
By letting go and experiencing freedom.
By surrendering and feeling how everything is flowing again.
By letting life happen to you.
By not wanting to interfere all the time.
By being ready to live empty-handed.

Tell Me, My son, what are you experiencing, when you are leaving the spinning wheel of the personality and are switching to the silent axis of existence, when you are welcomed in My Milky-white Bosom ?

Actually there is nothing whatsoever, there is silence, there is emptiness. There is absence of my personality. There's surrender, there is rest. There is Your overall presence of trust and love. I can no longer find myself then, I am all alone with You, You are, and I may experience It. Anything like.

Humility is the opposite of ego. The ego wants to be first. The ego is not able to listen. The ego is not able to trust. The ego always counts for itself.
When human consciousness discovers the world of life, the world of God, the world of the inner self, the world of the spirit is more real, is more true, has more future, one stops with feeding the ego. In stead come surrender, trust, letting go, really listening, really looking, more space. And patience for life, realization all is well, everything is meaning something, everything is having a purpose, even the greatest misery is containing fruit and hope in itself. Humility is making the other more important than own thoughts and feelings.

“Humility is attentive patience”

Humility isn’t exclusive for believers. Humility is available for human consciousness having learned to look beyond its own live. Having learned to transcend the ego, having learned there is something more valuable than the ego namely God, life, the whole.

If humility is given space there is attention, there is patience.

Maybe you would like to make a start, after all you have learned to listen, otherwise you wouldn’t hear My voice.

Yes, indeed. It’s funny because I am still afraid I don’t listen to You enough and not good enough.
You probably will comment on this as well later on.

In my personal life I am quite astonished at the moderate way people are listening. They are so impatient at people telling a story. And even listening they are waiting to continue their monologue, their opinions, associations, experiences. As if their story must be the most interesting thing in the world.
I still like to listen to others. I love their stories, I really feel something then. Beside this I find listening a beautiful way of experiencing life through the stories of others.
And hear me, I am listening to Your voice. How can it be?

I have searched for You whole my life. I have felt You regularly while hearing beautiful music, just in a still moment or being in a beautiful natural scene. But these experiences made me ask : “My God, where have I lost You, where are You, how can I come nearby You?”

So, what else is there to say many people are listening moderately, I am trying for myself to listen. And at last You are probably listening much better to us then we are listening to You. Anything like?

That’s all right.
People like listening after they have dethroned their ego or after they have by difficulties connected their inner self. Merely because of this they find the ego of oneself not that interesting anymore.

This is My proposition: good listeners have out of nature, character or experiences blown up their identification with their ego. They have observed their ego to be uninteresting and therefore made a connection with heart and soul. And now they are listening in a different way. They do not hear egostories but a fellow man, and in a loving and attentive way. They are anxious hearing more than egostories: a dream, a strong emotion, a beautiful association, an inner experience. In a way searching for fine shells and stones on a beach.

Hemingway says: carefully. This is real listening. Then you’ll read between the lines, then you’ll hear the story behind the story, then you’ll hear the hidden woes and desires, it is then you’re connecting with the heart of your fellow man, you’re in his shoes, it is then you’ll understand.
And the spirit of love has arrived then.

The spiritual World is always listening in this way. Your guardian angel is listening in this way, your soul is listening in this way, your “My God” is listening in this way and you all should and could listen in this way.
And do know We hear everything from you, but you are still hearing little from Us.
And you’ll be capable of listening if your inner self has become silent.

And you, My son, you don’t hear much from what your “My God” is saying but know it’s much more then others do. So be reassured. And be blessed.

The ego is a wonderful phenomenon. It is a necessary tool for evolution and a autonomous “energetic” field of experience and memory and intention and will. But as previously stated, it has rapidly started a life of his own with conceit, pretensions and especially a lot of delusions and illusions.
An important aspect of this whole is touched on in this tweet.
An omnipresent tendency of the ego is to compare the errors of others with the nice qualities of oneself, next to each other. So much self-conceit and much prejudice.

It would be a nice task for some of you to do it the other way around: comparing the nice qualities of others with the mistakes of oneself. You would unlearn much judgment, prejudice, egotism, selfishness and egocentrism. It would be a renunciation of the ego. And where the ego is forsaken “My God” and the soul get space. A tour of limitation and complacency towards listening and loving experience. A liberation from old patterns and much insight into something elementary, something all people should realize: that you are all the same, that you all have more in common that unites us in stead of dividing you, that you experience a loving treatment of others automatically to be transformed into better relationships, better contact, more space and more humor. Those who really look at themselves will after all laugh a lot.

You will see how many fellowmen are actually nice and walking around with sincere intentions. And they are dependent and vulnerable. And deeply hidden they are like many others longing for happiness, and they don’t find this happiness often.
Gentleness and a smile will be common in stead of formerly grim judgment and rejection.
Thus, you will become truly children of ONE God, or in the eyes of atheists: children of ONE earth.

The ego on the throne of the inner self

This is indeed the deepest problem of man, but from Our perspective also the most visible one: it self thinks to sit on the throne of the inner world. And this is in many cases connected with a mixture of delusions, fallacies, fears, anxieties, imagination and illusion.
For the self is never sitting on the throne.

God is sitting on the throne. And all that is happening are the deeds of God, through the self, according to the laws of God, the plan of God, the insights of God.

The self, however, has such a desperate need to think it has everything under control, all in hands, everything is handling, deciding everything. How big is the associated fear, because deep down one feels as control freak all the wavering, contingent, and unhappy stuff and arbitrary things.
One will stay uncertain if one always wants to be sure.

When man is on the right road from ignorance to wisdom, from restriction to freedom and from controlling to surrender, one is automatically feeling and experiencing the real blessings and energy from above and signals and guidance from the depths of the real self.
But in this way one isn’t digging but experiencing, not grabbing but getting.

And that’s the case for believers, but often for unbelievers as well, provided they surrender to something other great part of life for example life itself, nature, love, humanity, an Ideal.

But God is influencing everything much better and Its strengths and powers work better when one acknowledges God, accepts God, when one works openly with God, when one communicates with God.
Isn’t your work running better when you cooperate with your boss?
But after all God will always perform everything, though in silence.
