10 years of hearing the voice of God, a wonderful anniversary

My God, 10 years ago I first heard Your voice in a small chapel in Leiden. I experienced it was You, I knew it was special, and I didn't understand why I was allowed to go through this. By now I know that everyone can experience this, that it is possible. By now I understand that it will actually be the natural religion of the future, without the intervention of church rituals and pastors, just to be and communicate with the indwelling God.

What joy, what a promise, what a grace. I thank You for Your blessings, Your graces, Your corrections, but above all Your endless patience and love. For this I can say to the rest of the world, You should have chosen someone else, with more talents, more simplicity, more maturity. Anyway, obviously You choose to show your power and splendour especially with people who are nothing. You're great.

So many texts, so many visits from so many countries, I still find it special if thanks to the internet free and for nothing someone can read your words and indulge in them out there on a flat three high in the back in some suburb anywhere in the world. And, even if it's three visitors a day. That's nice. But sometimes there are 100 a day.

I thank You, I thank You, I thank You. That’s all there to say. And now You please?

My good son, I love silence more, as you know, so let's take this opportunity to entice fellow man to silence. For in silence God is found. Only when the noise and superficiality and the hassle of the world are put aside one can hear His God. How else could it be?

I thank you for your openness, your willingness, your vulnerability.

I thank you for your willingness to be quiet and really listen.

I did the rest. Keep it up, My son. 

Behold your servant, My God.

And we are always having the citadel of the spirit

My God, would You like to comment on this?

That's how it is. And that’s how it was. And that’s how it always will be.

We are having the human tide of difficulties. In these times it seems to be a higher tide than ever, because the mass media are throwing it all into the privacy of man’s home.

Thus it seems to be a world in chaos and confusion.
But this is not the case.
The world is a well-ordered whole of progress and evolution. And inside man there is the bastion, the citadel of the spirit, untouched by worldly concerns.
The citadel of the spirit is impregnable, durable, full of strength and always waiting for man. The citadel of the spirit is always open for man who tries to speak to her. And then is in force "ask and you shall receive, knock and you shall be opened."

The citadel of the spirit is always on the job. Man can trust on this.

And even though God's answer is not always what man from the perspective of his limitations is expecting, the answer is always there.
Man can trust on this.

Man is blessed with his mind.
The flipside of the coin is an endless interior monologue. And man believes so much in his own thinking, what else there is? The mind of others? Not to be trusted! And always competitive.

I'm prettier than he is.
She is slimmer than I am.
He's weird.
I know better.

Take fifteen minutes to watch your thinking, and you’ll understand My item.

Such as stepping from the rotating wheel to the silent axle, (See http://watchthegod-english.blogspot.nl/2012/04/are-you-choosing-for-rotating-wheel-or.html) in the same way, you can let your competitive tendency for what it is and quit it. Just stop it because you are seeing how exhausting it is all the time and how unjust it can be at least for one of the two compared people.

What will come instead is rest.
Rest to accept.
Rest to let.
Rest to be.
Rest to listen.
Rust to see how things are.

Just try it.

And that may be the beginning of a new insight, a new life, a new perspective.
