What does your attention go to in life?

If we love what is noble, we become noble (Fulton Sheen)

My God, would You like to elaborate on this? I have understood from life, for what your attention goes, that becomes important in life. But this quote is very penetrating. 

Very penetrating, my son, and a promise to man.

But we need to take a few things apart.

What goal does man set himself?

And how consistent and driven in life does he keep that goal in mind?

Where your thoughts, your feelings, your heart go out, that's where energy is put in, that attracts man, that comes his way. And if man does not allow himself to be distracted, then it is inevitable that what he desires will be realized.  But in man, that can be any goal, including sex or power or money or more beautiful ideals such as art, mankind or God.

And this seems like an impossible task for man, to become noble. But the difference between a saint and an ordinary person is that the saint holds on to his ideal and does not, like the ordinary man, drop out, and does not allow himself to be distracted. And so a man becomes noble when he comes to love noble things, noble people, noble deeds. There is no other way.

If we love what is noble, we become noble

And how can it be, in another example, that a person strives for something all his life and never gets it and so his life seems to have failed? It's topic for another blog, but in short, it comes down to this. This man then pursues impossible things, impossible for him in this special life, by unsuitable talents, unsuitable character, unsuitable destiny or simply bad luck.

But if you really come to love noble things, to choose them, and to keep it up, then you can't help but become noble, also because God wants to achieve that in man. And then man has a very great power behind him. That, of course, makes the aspiration strong.   And a saint simply cherishes goals that are pleasing to God. For a saint never pursues anything that is contrary to the laws of God. And that is wise of a saint.  Fulton Sheen is blessed.

Every choice and every action contribute to your spiritual home

The pursuit of the ideal—the striving to be Godlike—is a continuous effort before death and after. The life after death is no different in the essentials than the mortal existence. Everything we do in this life which is good contributes directly to the enhancement of the future life.

I was thinking about life and realized we actually choose all day long, for the small or the big, for the healthy or the unhealthy, for the good or the bad, for the loveless or the loving. And actually so to speak everything is really important and has big consequences. And at the same time, there should be no stress and tension and pressure and a sacred must, because then we become rigid fundamentalists. And then I also came across this quote from the Urantia book, which confirms that everything is really very important.  How do we reconcile all this?

 It's a paradox, My son, and I like to comment on this. Especially since nowadays more than before people have come to believe that everything must be possible, so to speak the sacred individualism while at the same time everything has consequences, as We know.  How do you reconcile that all, and what is Our perspective from the spiritual world?  Here it  comes

First of all Our perspective because that determines your perspective, in the end. 

We view everything with great love, great patience and a lot of compassion. It is true that everything has permanently great consequences, and that you must always suffer the consequences of your actions, sooner or later. Even if you do so in the deepest secret, hidden in your own home, or in your inner self.  

But the consequences are just, the laws of God are simple and the hints of God to do the right endlessly and the patience of God as you goof, in a thousand times and endlessly.  So in a way, namely Our way, everything is fine, even if it's not fine. This sentence is very important, My son, 

everything is fine, even if it is not fine.

Because the consequences, the corrections, the perspectives and the correct course of action are already embedded in the failure to act properly. Unconditionally and accurately.   

And now your perspective.

So everything you do always has great consequences, because there is no sparrow falling off the roof and God will know of it. Everything you do is extremely important. It is literally a permanent building of your spiritual home. You are contributing constantly to your spiritual dwelling with all your thoughts, all your feelings and all your actions.

And if you come to realize that you can create a ruin, but also a spiritual palace, why contribute even longer to a ruin? What is the point of destroying life by your own actions, making life ugly, planning your own future suffering. Why would you still do so? 

I like to mention the remark of a married woman who mused about possible infidelity because she ran into a nice other man. She spoke the winged words: "When I consider what an anguish I call over my loved ones and myself when I go into this possible infidelity, I recline and realize that I am not in favour of it and do not want to do so”.  

And that would be a nice approach for all of you, if you deal with this paradox. Do you want to accept the consequences of your pernicious actions for the environment and for yourself? And if that's what you want and you are doing the pernicious thing, then it's fine as well. Not immediately, but it'll be fine later on, after some suffering. And that’s an euphemism.

People of good and strong will

 

 

I 'm reading a book from Doreen Virtue on communicating with angels .
She says you sometimes have to command angels, so to speak instead of asking them. They will response better on commands, she says. I do not think this is nice to do. Would you like to comment on it?

Doreen Virtue is coming from the American culture where one is dealing with authority more primitively than in Europe. So where in the USA a manager is giving commands, without discussion, in Europe everything will be discussed and clarified with staff what has to be done. So it is about how people are communicating.
One definitely doesn’t want to command  angels. The spiritual world loves a respectful treatment. Aren’t We doing the same to you all?

However, Doreen Virtue really touches a very important thing. So to speak the strength, the willpower , the determination which one can use to perform things and to achieve more. Actually, she is saying, be men of good ànd strong will .

When Christ was born , the angel told the shepherds : Listen , people of good will.

The spiritual world can work better through men, when one is not only from good will, but also strong-willed. Men can be then a powerful instrument.

Therefore I say, listen men of good ànd strong will.

When you are calling upon an angel or spirit, when you are praying to God for something , when you are opening up to the solution of a problem, the spiritual world can respond to your request much better, work better with your request , and use more powerful energy to solve a problem if you :

• concentrate better
• ask it more determinedly
• ask it with more conviction
• ask it with more faith
• ask it with more hope
• ask it with more feeling
• ask it with more willpower. 

Therefore if you are communicating with the spiritual world, be you all as much as possible men of good will ànd strong-willed.

In the meantime may all weak-minded, vulnerable and confused men be very blessed.

Is the spiritual world especially cherishing religions, are they their favorites?

The spiritual world does not look only at religions and does not work only with pastors, priests, imams and other ministers.
The spiritual world, God provides all organizations in the world with energy, following the principle of free will, so criminal organizations get it as well.
But organizations are extra supported and blessed when people of good will are working at a better world. And these organizations will ultimately prevail and win over the organizations of evil will. Because the evil is not existing for the sake of the evil, but for the sake of the good. The eternal prevails over the temporal.
All organizations of good will exist in the grace of God / Allah / Jehovah / Brahman, in short of the ONLY Cause.
All organizations of good will, worldwide, namely:

• The political organization working for the ideals of society, of mankind, of the world.
• The juridical organizations  developing the “Ten Commands” for mankind. 
• The nature organizations working for the conservation and protection of nature.
• The social organizations cherishing and supporting the vulnerable and the weak in society.
• The scientific organizations developing  the knowledge of the world and new technologies.
• The religious organizations helping mankind to look behind the scenes of life.

All these organizations are united in ONE large worldwide network of power and love and energy and good will. And this network will be each year of the earthy evolution stronger, more powerful, more influential and more pure. It can not be otherwise, regardless of the issues of the day such as temporary downturn, crisis, difficulties and wars.

There is only ONE way, the earthy evolution has only ONE direction, from beast to the spirit, from physical imperfection to spiritual perfection, from matter to God.
May you rely on a glorious future, how insurmountable the presence may seem to be.

Rise up after a failure, God is always with you

When the birth of Christ was announced, the angel said: "Listen all, man of good will, I bring you the good news a Savior is born, he is the Messiah."
Man of good will. This is what God is seeing. This is what God is keeping in Its mind. And whatever you do, even if you’re flopping, when you afterwards are getting up again and trying again, We are pleased. We are seeing your good will, and then We will do the rest.

"You're not a failure until you stop trying"

And the man who is totally loosing himself in failure and is derailing and is destroying and killing, is indeed a failure on earth. His good will was not strong enough to withstand the evil will, but after his death we are receiving him. This man is experiencing for a while the necessary restrictions (no punishment) and is then helped to rebuild his good will. Eventually God is triumphing over you, your evil will shall never triumph over life. On earth this seems to be the case, but in evil is always hidden the seeds of its own destruction.
Life is love, life is from God, evil is always limited and temporary. On Earth, evil is yet greatly present, but in the spiritual world evil is curbed and enslaved and eventually resolved.

"If you have no other testimony you have this one: I'm still here"

And do know, you all, God is always there, and is always with you and is waiting and seeing and helping and is cherishing you and saving you. Sooner or later.
Sooner, if your good will is stronger than your evil will.
Later, if the evil will is stronger than the good will.
But your "My God" is always staying with you, is always faithful, is always present, is always cherishing. Always.
Trust on this.

Once a "My God" spoke this words, and they are spoken by the "My God" of all of you:

" Upon him I bestow the supreme devotion and affection of a Divine Spirit. And say further to My beloved subject that I will function with wisdom and power until the very end, until the last earth struggle is over; I will be true to My personality trust…."
