I am nothing

My God, may I ask You. It's been over a month since I received a blog. When I think about the blogs, there is no inspiration, I often think 'hasn't everything been said?'. And I never think, maybe we should stop, because we've already passed that station a few times. So I sit here and ask You, tell me, please?

Ah, My good son. So you still fall into the old trap, that you have to come up with a topic or a quote and then I will come up with the content and the words. That is certainly the case. But also the suggestion of inspiration comes from Me, also the search and finding of a quote, saying or beautiful anecdote comes from Me. So what do you want, what else can you do but just open up and wait for Me. Your ego is still present and has a sense of responsibility, of having to take initiative, of involvement. But it is absent in this whole process, you are no more than a listener, you are not an inspired prophet, not a cause of news, not a responsible person in the blogs. Other than as a listener. And who knows, maybe the best messages will come at times when you least expect it.

Isn't that your life experience too?

At crucial moments, when hope seems lost, I reach out to you, I give you new hope, I open a door when all the doors are slammed shut. At unexpected moments, I offer you new points of view, I support you in shaky moments, I carry you when you are exhausted. You have experience with that, you know that, that is the basis of your faith, when you sigh: "not I but You are the Doer".

And now the blogs. Nothing is yours, not a word, not a sentence, not a text, not an inspiration, not a subject, not an insight, not an unexpected turn in a subject, not a refreshing perspective where you did not suspect them. Everything is Mine, everything is brought by Me, everything is thought and brought by Me. Why do you think that you have to be inspired, that you have to come up with something, that you have to come up with a topic? Nothing is yours, everything is Mine.

And accept this, My good but careless, naïve, innocent and stubborn son of Mine, just stand open and wait, and I will do the rest.

If there is anything you can leave in this process, it is hindering Me.

If there is anything you can do in this process, it is to let Me.

And if there are no blogs coming, it’s because you make different choices in life, there’s so much interesting stuff too, isn’t it?

Be blessed in this humble work.

My blessings to you all

Stupid behaviours lead to modesty

My good God, I was recently losing myself in the small, stupid and unhealthy attachments of life. I won't go into which ones they are, because that's not really that interesting. And when I had enjoyed myself so much, I sensed a great humility in myself. I don't have an inferiority complex, and I don't call myself a measly meaningless worm, but still. My self-image was : "oh what am I worth, how much can I do, how much do all the primitive forces in life have more to say about me than You God" I sighed. “What was I worth, what a wonderful stupid monkey I am".

Well, something like that. And in doing so, I experienced a smallness, a nothingness, and a nothingness, which gave me peace and a kind of simple sensation of relief. In any case, I wasn't exactly suffering from pride or great self-importance at the time.

And I thought of You and of the spiritual world and sighed, "What patience and love and power You have all to work with us. What a job for You All".

Well, I would ask You to comment on that?

My good son, My question this time is not "Has it brought you much, this behaviour? Did it help you, did you experience any good?" We park these questions, because they have been asked in other blogs.

(Check https://watchthegod-english.blogspot.com/2013/06/renounce-yourself-teresa-from-avila.html )

And it is through: We are Patience, Love, Power.

The Son of Man preferred to deal with tax collectors and whores, who knew a lot about the dark side of life but did not dare to think that God was thinking of them. He preferred to hang out with them rather than with priests and Pharisees who lived oh so righteously and knew very well everything about God and holy books and rituals.

Why do you think?

The tax collectors and whores did not find much of themselves, were infinitely open to every straw of life, and Christ was indeed a straw of life, rather a rock in the surf.

But the priests and Pharisees had a very high self-esteem and did not wonder anything. They were filled with self-importance, and had no questions, no need for support and counsel, and certainly did not want to hear anything new and painful, except to be confirmed very loudly that they were very special.

Every word of truth and love spoken by the Christ was absorbed and loved and internalized by the whores and tax collectors, but they were doubted and discussed and rejected by the priests and Pharisees.

This is not a plea for sin and corruption, for addictions and songliness, but it is a plea for the wonderful works of God, Who in the poor in spirit and the oppressed and gloomy and the sick, the sighing and sinners, gets a lot of power and achieves much. And in the spiritual world, a whore with a big heart is welcomed with more joy than an icy cleric with a cold mind.

You were more open to Me after all your little stupid acts than before. I'd like to see that. Because with God, you can start over every day.

The Christ said to the tax collectors and whores after a frank conversation: "Sin no more".

And almost without exception, they stopped sinning and became half-saints in life.  And the priests and Pharisees— ahh they crucified the Christ.

Be blessed for your honesty.

My blessings to you all

Knowing God is becoming humble

Today marks eleven years since I heard the voice of God. And if these eleven years have brought me one thing, it's humility.

To be human and realize that your fate is in God's hands.

To be human and to realize that you can be a god in your life if you allow God.

To be human and realize that you are nothing and cannot achieve anything if you hold God back.

To be human and to realize that all those so-called unknown people who seem strange to you and different and unknown, that they are your brothers and sisters.

To be human and to realize that we are all children of God, no matter what we do and no matter what we believe.

To be human and no longer to look around for support, to no longer wish that someone else has to make you happy.

To be human and to realize that you are carried in love, seen in your failure, accepted for who you are, not for what you do or believe or desire.

To be human and to know that eternity is waiting for you, no matter how imperfect or unhappy or small your life was.

To be human and to know that God loves you no matter what, however, however, however.

My Good God, I thank You, I thank You, I thank You.

Today is your day, my son, I'll leave it at that.

My blessings to you all

Effortlessly doing good deeds comes from abundance and humility

"True goodness is like water in that it blesses everything and harms nothing. And like water, true goodness seeks the lowest places, even those levels which others avoid." Taoism, Urantiabook §131 Page 1452

I knew a very righteous and holy priest who had his farewell Mass before he retired. Yes, he was over 80 years old, so he'd continued his good work until he couldn't anymore. In this Mass I experienced that from the spiritual world a great grace and blessing was given about his earthly work and I "saw" and felt all this happening. I'm now not going into what I've experienced here. But heaven opened up there on that altar in a way that filled me with awe and emotion.

When I told him later on in a letter my experience and expressed my admiration and respect for this sacred event, he wrote "I am pleased for you that you have been through this, but as far as I am concerned I can only say "I owe everything to my parents and the Virgin Mary". At the time I didn't understand his modesty, but now I'm starting to experience for myself that goodness and handling out of goodness are really nothing but parts of the abundance that you've been given, and that that's natural and really can't be otherwise. There doesn't seem to be a more natural way. And now I came across this Taoist quote and in it it is described even more zen and even more beautiful and more self-evident than I had suspected.

Would You like to comment on this, My God?

This is the will of God. True love is effortless, and acts without self-interest, and shares its own abundance. And flows from good man as water to lower and unreachable places, to people who need it most. True love therefore comes from a humble man who has come to realize that one can only get empty hands if the full hands and the full heart are handed out, handed out and handed out, effortlessly. How else can the hands and heart be filled with more?

This quote shows that God truly loves all religions. The beauty and truth of this Taoist quote may touch and inspire any other believer and unbeliever.

My blessings to you all

During the process of dying God can become very close (Dying, 1)

I read the following text of a journalist who visited a hospice, "In the last The New Yorker is a long story about a nurse who accompanies men dying at home. I read that there are nurses who believe that working with dying men brings you the most close to God's presence on earth. You do not have to be religious to feel that sacredness lingering around bodies coming to a halt and - after completion - see the salvation on their faces. " *

Would You like to comment on this story?

We should not think romantically about dying. The evolution of man is not yet so advanced that people consciously leave their body without any suffering at the end of their live. This is meant to be.
There is a lot of horrible suffering what the dying and their beloved ones really learn to know. But ... ..this being said I'd love to go into the dying process and the presence of God.

Ideally, the dying has let go of his attachment with the matter, has retired from his loved ones. And is no longer concerned with the great passion of the ego, namely the outside world and what is in it for himself.

The dying has become silent, has lost hope, has lost his interest in performance and what others think of him. The dying has no more pretension and has lost his pride -the most important ingredient for the presence of God. Dying is a debunking process of vulnerability, you let strangers wash the buttocks and you are not able to do anything, you achieve nothing anymore, there is nothing to be proud of, the only thing left is the inner self.
Humility, meekness, modesty and vulnerability have emerged.
And then God is really happy to come.
Then God gets a chance.

Then the soul and its grandeur assert influence on the earthly personality.
Then sacredness and holiness show themselves.
Then salvation becomes manifest.
Then God will take Its place.
Then bystanders become quiet and humble.
Then the odor of sanctity comes into play.
Then comes the dying in the sphere of God.
All dying persons on earth are blessed.

My blessings to you all

I have heard God (Barbara Veenman)

I have read an interview with an Remonstrant theologian and writer * . She told she was in a difficult period in her life, staying in a monastery for a while: "I felt so lonely, so caught up in my gloom, I suddenly uncontrollably started crying. Then I asked God quite humbly to send people on my path; people who could help me further on. At that moment I heard God say literally: "Then you have to set out first for yourself!".
"............... .I Have heard God. And since then, many wonderful things have passed my way! "

Would You like to comment on this story?

Barbara Veenman has heard God. And so it is. Her Spark of God promised and admonished  her. She wanted people on her path, so she had to set out first for herself, rather than sit and wait at home.
People in need are waiting and ending up in a victimised  position. What did the world  to them? Why they? And in fact they just want to be found, they want others  to solve everything, preferably God and preferably quickly.
But God has already let said on earth:

"Ask and thou shall receive. Knock and thou shall be opened "

But that's not enough actually.
Furthermore people must set out, seek, open up, change direction, leave their old world of misery. And then God hands out everything. Because it is infinitely easier for God to send the right people, the right books, the right experiences on one’s path, if one for oneself has set out.
So the advice is: set out, take a step in the right direction.
And with every step of man God takes ten steps to man.
For man is especially carried with love in his dark moments.
Barbara Veenman is blessed for her openness and humility.

My blessings to you all

Humility is attentive patience (Simone Weil)

BaltimoreDharmaGroup@BDGzendo Humility is attentive patience. ~ Simone Weil

Would you like to comment on this tweet?

Humility is the opposite of ego. The ego wants to be first. The ego is not able to listen. The ego is not able to trust. The ego always counts for itself.
When human consciousness discovers the world of life, the world of God, the world of the inner self, the world of the spirit is more real, is more true, has more future, one stops with feeding the ego. In stead come surrender, trust, letting go, really listening, really looking, more space. And patience for life, realization all is well, everything is meaning something, everything is having a purpose, even the greatest misery is containing fruit and hope in itself. Humility is making the other more important than own thoughts and feelings.

“Humility is attentive patience”

Humility isn’t exclusive for believers. Humility is available for human consciousness having learned to look beyond its own live. Having learned to transcend the ego, having learned there is something more valuable than the ego namely God, life, the whole.

If humility is given space there is attention, there is patience.

My blessings to you all

The personality and its tricks (Religion, 4)

Fourth part of a monologue on religion.

I told you in part 2 the nature of man is often underestimated and in part 3 there is a lot of energy to be felt in and around places of worship.
But why is the personality distorting everything? How is this possible?
The answer is short: because the personality is still in the making.
The personality is God's greatest creation, the crown on God's work, the most gifted being upon this earth/planet but in the making.
The personality, evolutionary being, is developing:

  • from beast to spirit
  • from earth to heaven
  • from ape to spiritual son/daughter
  • from imperfect to perfect.
And We, who work with evolution as an instrument for man to grow towards perfection, are stating: We are not there yet. Man, the personality, is still an imperfect creature, We just need to observe the planet to conclude mankind is not there yet.
I want to emphasize two aspects in this matter:

  • Nature is neither perfect, it is also in the making, because the apparent harmony in nature is in fact a struggle for survival and eating or being eaten. Nature is in the making as well and many of My next blogs will elaborate on this: how nature rises to a higher level and passes through a transformationprocess too, in spite of all the trouble and destruction.
  • Man is part of nature, in the making as well, and when God as creator would comment on you, with love, God could say: how is it possible man has such a distorted way of acting so all what is happening is the opposite of what was meant to be? How can people kill in the name of Christ, the Peace-loving? How is it possible a communistic regime, in the name of the labourers, suppresses them? How can a country promoting and preaching freedom, take away that freedom?
Mankind should become more forbearing, broadminded, loving, reasonable, careful but those are words easily said but so hard to realize. The heart of the matter is man has an inner throne and it should be God sitting there or one of God's servants like Wisdom, Reasonableness or Love. But the free will of man has pushed God away and put himself there and his delusions.
Religious people who want to convince others in a pushy way, do the same. There they are on their throne, believing they are quite something. And thinking they can tell others to believe what they believe. Pride, arrogance, vanity are the reason for their behaviour.

In the word personality you can see the word persona (mask) from per sonare which means to sound through. The personality should be a mask through which God could sound or reverberate, but the only sounds are dissonants and deformations when a personality itself occupies the throne.

Mankind sticks too easily to his own doing, his own actions, his own concepts, there is so much presumption and this is the cause of sorrow and abuse of energy. Pride is the biggest flaw of man, therefore God loves to see the opposite: meekness and humility.
In My next fifth blog I will get into who is eager to help man to sit on his own throne.
The devil, God's own ape, and does so with his sidekicks, his little apes.

My blessings to you all
